Set in a subterranean space, 89 Charles evokes the spirit of a refined hideaway. The intimate space features a 12-seat bar and a 30-seat lounge, wrapped in antique brass, rich blues, and curated vintage accents — blending Beacon Hill’s historic charm with a modern sense of glamour.

The bar program will center around classic reimaginings, retro themed, and rotating seasonally driven cocktails, as well as a small, carefully selected bottle list of vintage champagne and hard to find high end wines, with a small beer and wine by the glass selection.  The focus of spirits will be local and will not be a large selection.  

The kitchen serves a menu of elevated small plates crafted to complement the cocktail program. While food is offered, this is not a dinner destination. Instead, the menu is designed to offer bites and plates on the smaller side, leaving the focus on the cocktail and lounge experience.
